Catalyst Voting App
There is a new Voting app for Project Catalyst, the current voting system for Cardano Improvement/Project Proposals!
This is huge news or Cardano, even though it is still in BETA. Having a way to register and vote, even if you are only holding ADA and not a Stake Pool Operator, provides the ecosystem with a stable way to propose projects and improvements to be funded by Cardano.
I am so excited about this app! you should go and check it out right now!
Note that this app is currently only available on Google Play and not iOS, but we expect it to be released on Apple soon.
Pledge Updates
So last Epoch I missed the chance to update my pledge for the pool because I was transferring ADA out of Uphold through Binance (check out last Epoch update for more info on that!)
This Epoch my pledge is increasing by about 2k ADA!
This is slowly building in line with the Roadmap for the Pool Aiming for that 50K Pledge slowly but surely.
My strategy for this is to cost average into the market, by this I mean I buy regularly to slowly increase and get an average cost of ADA into the pool. I don’t have the cash to throw at 50K ADA right now (which would cost about $5k).
Instead I just buy a bit here and there, $100 at a time, until I hit my goal.
I am happy to see it steadily increasing over time as I buy in any time there is a little dip in price.
STOIC T-Shirts!
I have made some STOIC Tees which are available on the site here!
This is more so I can rep my pool more than anyone else. But I figured if anyone wants to get their hands on a nice STOIC t-shirt then I would make them available for anyone who wants!
I am currently waiting for a delivery of these so keep your eyes peel for future videos where I will be showing them off.
I am not planning on making a whole line of STOIC clothing or anything it is more just some novelty Tees for a bit of fun and a little branding for the Stake Pool.
Marketing STOIC Pool
As I said previously I have been working on lots of marketing material for STOIC Pool, it is important to me to get in front of as many ADA holders as possible to help promote my pool for delegation.
Figuring out how to reach all of these people is obviously easier said than done, after all there is already over half of the available ADA delegated to other pools.
But, the best thing to do is start small and build up from there, gradual improvements help build compound results. So what I have done is made 150 images and promotional Tweets and Social Posts to help promote the pool.
I have been very active on Twitter and I am setting up a Pool Page for Facebook and maybe even an Instagram account as well to help reach as many people as possible and start building that delegation.
This is really part of the Growth Phase of the Pool, and although we are technically in the Seed Phase, we could site there for months without much delegation and little to no Blocks minted unless we really push for the Angel Delegators now 😉
